The idea for Namu Home Goods came at the end of 2020. You see, I’d spent the year (along with the rest of the world) addressing the cracks that only pure global calamity could bring up to the surface. I sat in meditation with myself, with no distractions and slowly redefined the definition of meaning, purpose, and success. Most of all, I prioritized what mattered: Health, relationships, taking care of self, and surrounding myself energetically with what makes me happy.
During my year of re-engineering, when everything around me felt off-kilter, I began to imagine myself as a tree—strong and alive—weathering the bitter winter, knowing the warmth of spring was just around the corner. I heard the tree whisper: “don’t let a season dictate your life”.
Namu means “tree” in Korean, and Namu Home Goods strives to highlight the natural beauty of wood—with an artist’s eye—as a reflection of harmony, harvest, and peace. I'm dedicated to unearthing gallery-quality woodwork from Korea, sourced with a distinctly Korean-American aesthetic. The offerings look as beautiful in a midcentury modern as they would in a traditional Hanok.

How should I care for my Namu piece?
Please do not place near your product near water or in an area with high humidity like a bathroom. All of Namu’s pieces are made in Korea from Korean wood. Because Korea’s climate differs from the U.S., and because the wood is still alive, your piece may crack and change color with weather, temperature, and sun exposure. We at Namu believe this is part of the beauty of wood art – that it grows old with us and still expresses its innate desires to change.
What forms of payment are accepted online?
Namu Home Goods accepts Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express.
Are credit card transactions secure?
Yes. All credit card information sent to Name Home Goods is SSL secure and encrypted for security.
What is your return policy?
We respectfully only apply store credit for any returns. Items must be returned in original and unused condition. Please make sure that items are well packed and insured for the full amount as products are extraordinarily fragile. If product arrives damaged, store credit will not be issued. Shipping costs are non-refundable and costs for return shipment are the responsibility of the customer. Store credit returns are not applicable after 30 days from receipt of order at your shipping address. Orders noted as final sale are non-refundable for store credit.

Do you have a faster shipping service available?
Yes, your order can be shipped via expedited service, however there is an additional surcharge for this service.
Can orders be shipped outside the U.S.?
Namu Home Goods does not ship outside of the US for orders taken online. Please email us at info@namuhomegoods.com if you are an overseas customer and would like us to ship our products to you. We will calculate shipping at the time of your order and provide you with a shipping quote and custom crate.
How is sales tax calculated on orders?
We collect sales tax on all orders shipped to addresses in California. Residents in other states are responsible for complying with local state tax laws.
Can I purchase a gift card?

How do I redeem a gift card?
A gift card is just like cash and may only be redeemed on the e-shop. It has no expiration date
