Artist: Joseph Lee, “Passing Season”
Giclee Print, Unframed
Dimensions: 20Hx16W

While artist Joseph Lee typical paints abstract portraits, Namu Home Goods Founder, Diana commissioned her husband to create a representation of the ethos of Namu. While it is Namu Home Goods’ goal to curate heritage woodwork to be passed down for generations, the more important goal is to surface and celebrate creativity in Asian bodies. The day Joe and Diana got engaged, he presented her with a painting with deep sentimental value (see below). Diana wanted to share a version of this beautiful minimal painting with Namu Home Goods collectors and especially those who are as moved by art and nature as she is. This is a limited edition Giclee print that is hand-signed and numbered by artist Joseph Lee and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Ship Date: Please allow 5-7 business days to ship.

Namu Home Goods Collaboration with Namu Home Goods

Together, they support each other's creative callings.

Joseph Lee is a self-taught artist who studies faces and the emotions that inhabit them. Lee focuses on the parallel between external reality and internal process by manipulating everyday faces and objects through segmented brush strokes, color choice, and volume, converging them into a complete and balanced whole. More importantly, he is husband to Namu Home Goods Founder, Diana Ryu. Together, they support one another’s creative callings and felt a collaboration between Namu Home Goods and Joseph Lee Art was another beautiful partnership. Though the artist is most well-known for his abstract portraits, Diana commissioned him to create something that would appeal to the Namu Home Goods audience’s deep appreciation for the natural world.
