Antique Square Lacquered Tray

Originally used as a small cutting board, they were raised slightly as woman would sit on the floor while chopping and preparing food. Though a small piece of wood, this cutting board was instrumental to the traditional Korean woman –– her main duties were unable to be performed without this important tool. The cutting board still has the knife marks on them.
